The five-star Nambiti Hills Private Game Lodge offers intimate and luxurious accommodation in the

Its lofty glass-enclosed dining and lounge areas provide panoramic views of rolling hills and savannah
by day, and thousands of stars in the clear night sky. A wide verandah with its neighbouring bar spills
out onto a waterfall that splashes into a rock pool where guests can float on cushions whilst sipping
cocktails. Four indoor wood fires and two outdoor boma fires offer warmth, intimacy and another place
to dine. There are also discreet enclaves leading off the bedroom suites where one can enjoy private
meals and uninterrupted contemplation. There are eight luxury suites and one honeymoon suite at
Nambiti Hills Private Game Lodge, each suite with a private viewing deck and an interior featuring a
contemporary eclectic mix of local African design.

CUISINE
Our two highly skilled chefs will lead you on a culinary journey that is marked for the discerning. You will
enjoy gourmet meals with an open view of the chefs at work. Enjoy dining in the main lodge or breakfast
on the deck. You may even be surprised by a boma dinner, meal at the waterfall or in a private enclave
just outside your suite. Your meal will be accompanied by the best South African and international
wines.
Boma Dinners :
Dining in the boma is a truly unique South African experience. It is a traditional encircled area with
a ceiling of endless sky and iridescent stars. You will be lulled by the sounds of cicadas and frogs and
occasional comment from wild animals, as well as the crackling of the log fire.

ON SITE ACTIVITIES
Game Drives :
Our guides and expert animal tracker will take you through the rugged and pristine terrain of the
Nambiti Big 5 Game Reserve in search of some of the most splendid animals in Africa. Along the journey,
you will learn about the biodiversity of our grasslands, multitude of insects and the magnificence of the
big five - elephant, rhino, buffalo, lion and leopard.
Birding :
A paradise for birders, the Nambiti Big 5 Game Reserve is home to 263 different species of birds. Birding
drives can be arranged depending on numbers of guests resident at the lodge.
Walking Safaris :
If you want to experience the wild on foot, our armed game guide will safely guide you on long walks
through the enchanting Africa bush. This is subject to availability.
Fly Fishing :
There are a number of dams within the reserve which offer guests the opportunity to fish. These dams
are well stocked with bass and various other fish species. Guests will be accompanied by a guide when
fishing. The Drakensberg offers the best fly fishing in South Africa. There are excellent trout waters in
the region with well-stocked dams and pristine stretches of river where brown and rainbow trout occur
in abundance.

Intimate Weddings
We will partner with you in creating the perfect setting and menu to make your intimate wedding
memorable. Neighbouring lodges on the Nambiti Reserve provide accommodation for your guests while
Nambiti Hills extends its accommodation for your wedding party.
We can cater for small intimate weddings, with a maximum of thirty guests at your reception with
eighteen guests staying over.

Small corporate meetings
Nambiti Hills Private Game Lodge can be hired out for small corporate meetings in a unique location.
The lodge can be block booked for corporate guests and a maximum of eighteen guests can be
accommodated.

LOCATION OF NAMBITI HILLS PRIVATE SAFARI LODGE
Nambiti hills Private Safari Lodge is situated in the Southern portion of the Nambiti Big 5 Game Reserve,
Located 23km East of Ladysmith.

Ideally situated between Johannesburg and Durban, makes Nambiti hills Safari Lodge an easy
destination for people from both cities. From Durban the travelling time is 2 ½ to 3 hours ,
approximately 240km, whereas from Johannesburg the travelling time is 3 to 3 ½ hours, approximately
340km.
