Ndaka really goes out of it's way to make sure young children are felt included in everything from meal times to game drives. It really is a true family wilderness destination for those travelling with children.
Whilst kids sleep in the same tent, they have their own section to one side with the choice of single beds or campcots and don't feel "squeezed in".
This is due to the large size of the tents that Ndaka use. The gardens and grounds are fenced in and there is plenty space for lkids o work off their excess energy without getting in the way of other guests. The large indigenous garden provides plenty of space for the kids to play everything from thei r favorite sports, hide-‘n-seek, trampoline and in Summer, the swimming pool
Children aged 4 years and younger are welcomed on game drives.
Car seats available for younger children but parents need to be sensitive and aware of the sometimes unpredictable behaviour of the wild animals.Safety is paramount and generally these drives will not be allowed within 50 meters of a Big 5 sighting. This is however at the sole discretion of the ranger at the time of the sighting.
Guests with children of similar ages will travel together on game viewers but in the event of this not being possible, then parents are requested to be considerate of other guests also enjoying their experience in the bush.
Children must remain quiet on drives so as to not inconvenience other guests on the vehicle as well as other guests on other game drives.
